I started this site with one goal in mind, to get people back into the kitchen and cooking again!
I used to enjoy going to restaurants and dining out but after awhile, I realized I was paying a lot of money for mediocre food and poor service. I knew I could do better in my own kitchen! I also noticed that more and more families were dining out daily instead of making home cooked meals and having quality family time at the table.
Cooking should be exciting and fun. I want people to start going back to doing things the “old fashioned” way - following a recipe and using fresh ingredients! Of course we all ‘cheat’ once in awhile but it really doesn’t take much longer to cook a meal from scratch than it does to open a box of chemicals and doctor it up and pray it tastes good! It is also very rewarding to see people enjoy your food and ask for more!

I put the recipe section into a community forum so we can discuss them, share, post them, learn about them. The forums are full of interesting recipes from around the world and recipes we use every day. Submitted by members, eaten by their families. The whole idea is to share our recipes, help each other out in the kitchen and learn from each other. Registration is FREE.
If you don’t know how to cook but like to talk about food, there’s always room to “hang out in the kitchen”. And why not? Maybe you’ll decide to try a few recipes! The kitchen is the focal point of any home. The main gathering area. The place guests migrate to at parties. More and more homes are being designed with the kitchen and family room combined into one. So, why not cook in the kitchen as well as hang out in it?
